We booked this for our friends 60th birthday present... Where do I start? We had a fabulous time on board. From the moment we met John we knew it was going to be great. He put us all at ease as Julie wad a tad nervy. John was very informative about the lake, his boat his experiences. We were able to sail his beautiful boat too. Nothing was too much trouble for John. When we had finished a sailing around the lake he then made us our lunch, which was very tasty he had made his own sardine pate and mum had made the chutney. I would certainly recommend this trip for anyone who wants something a bit different....Thank you John for an experience we'll never forget...❤

Tried to cancel a Saturday cruise on the Thursday before due to illness. Didn’t ask for money back just to rebook. Refused point blank. Will use someone else. Read the T and C’s before booking. They are horrible. We are locals not tourists.

My husband Tim and I enjoyed a wonderful time on our recent sail on Windermere. John was an excellent skipper and, as we were the only 2 people on the boat that day, we had it all to ourselves which meant I got to spend a lovely amount of time at the helm under John’s expert tuition. He gave me so much confidence and I thoroughly enjoyed it. John is great fun, very engaging and so passionate about sailing and Windermere and his enthusiasm is infectious. We learnt so much about sailing and the area itself and after a wonderful 90 mins sail we enjoyed the most amazing ploughman’s lunch.
Thank you John it was a truly wonderful experience which we will always remember.

John is an absolute superstar ! this was the second time we sailed on his immaculate yacht. We had a wonderful lunch prepared by John and his mums lovely cake for afters. It was helped by the fact it was the hottest day this summer and his knowledge of the local area is encyclopaedic. well done again John we look forward to our next visit.

What a fantastic evening enjoyed by all under the blue skies on Englands greatest lake!!
John you are a great host, very knowledgable and a wonderful Chef to boot. A most memorable 60th birthday surprise for my wife ‘Anne’ who would definitely recommend your home made cheese & onion pie and I can certainly vouch for the Fillet ?.

Had a brilliant night for my mum’s 60th birthday, we couldn’t have wished for anything more. The food was stunning and John was a fantastic host who pulled out all the stops to make it special. Would definitely recommend as we will be doing this again for sure, thanks John! James

Had a beautiful meal and great crack with the other guests on Monday evening for our anniversary.
Wonderful food and views of the lake. John is a superb host and excellent sailor and makes everyone welcome. Even a damp evening didn't spoil our enjoyment. Highly recommend this experience. What a treat.

We booked the sail N Dine with John for our parents 50th anniversary and had a wonderful family celebration. John is a fantastic, knowledgable captain and chief and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience even though the weather conditions weren’t perfect. John is very engaging and we would highly recommend the experience for anyone wanting a memorable occasion on the lake.
