I have stayed here a lot of times. Each morning even in the cold they check and clean the pool. The employees are very respectful. The front desk is awesome. I have not seen any bugs, and I do look for them I have to be comfortable, okay!. This place is also near stores.

There were wasps in my room!! The knob in my shower was pulled out so the water wouldn't turn on. There was a weird gunky residue on my bathroom door. There was obvious mold in the ceiling of the bathroom of the room my friend was staying in. I regret not taking pictures. My friend's keycard wouldn't work the entire stay. The staff did not offer to change our rooms or comp us for the problems. There was just so many things horrible about this place. Also the fitness room was a joke, empty weight racks and sketchy equipment. This place isn't worth the price nor the health hazard. Take your money elsewhere. The only good thing about this place is that the Waffle House is a 2 minute walk across the parking lot. I didn't expect five star quality but the cleanliness and maintenance of this place is a joke. Hands down the worst place I've ever stayed at. I drove to a Super8 in Mississippi just to escape this place, it was worth the drive just to not sleep another night at this place.

This hotel is probably the worst Choice Hotel we have ever stayed in.
Upon check in, the front desk clerk was cordial...but when we entered our room...that's when the horrible began.
The doorknob to the bathroom fell off, the sink was leaking so bad water ran onto the floor...the light over the shower was like a strobe light, going on and off...there appeared to be black mold around the tub...ice machine was not working... and the breakfast offered was pitiful.
Due to these conditions, we checked out early and lost 8000 reward points.
I am shocked to know this place is even under the Choice Hotels brand.

First time staying at this location and based off reviews was worried however we booked on line for a great price and yes it’s an older building that being said I couldn’t be happier. Starting at checkin Mrs Cherry went over every detail and answered all our question all the staff were super nice. The room was clean need little work n the pool was very clean .. We enjoyed a breakfast ( just b nice if offered more n had fruit )every morning included in our room which was nice. I will definitely be coming back .

Booked two nights and only stayed one.
Only stayed the one night because I was so tired after driving 18 hours.

Room was dirty.

Power on the whole side of the room wouldn't work so the tv, microwave, and fridge wouldn't work. We ended up figuring out a way to get the TV plugged up across the room where power was working.

Walls, bathroom ceiling, and AC were covered in mold.

Had to clean the room myself just to stay the night.

Bed was comfy is the only good thing I can say

We managed to forget a tablet when we left the room and checked out. I made a call the following day and was informed the house keeping manager had it locked up in their office to be claimed. Luckily we only live about 2.5 hours away. The housekeeping manager has that day off but they would have called them in if we were making the trip that day. In fairness it was not that persons fault that we missed it and I told them we would be in the next day that person was scheduled to work. We were very appreciative of the effort and honesty involved! Room was adequate but the bathroom was likely the smallest I have ever seen! The employees were all social and great that we encountered and I would stay again.

It wasn’t a pleasant experience. Didn’t feel comfortable you had to slam the door 2 to 3 times for it to shut….had to sleep with my protection lock and loaded next to me. When night time fell I didn’t leave out the room

This is the nastiest hotel I've ever seen. Bed bug and roach invested!
And the staff is rude as hell. Mold in the shower. Homeless sleeping in the hallways and parking lot! We didn't stay but 5 minutes, we couldn't get out of the room fast enough! We will never stay at this choice hotel again.
