It upsetting to have to write a review like this. Dr. Ballal is very nice but his staff can't get it together. They simply can not send over a prescription over to the pharmacy. My daughter started to run low on meds so the pharmacy called for a refill. They couldn't get ahold of anyone. I called no answer. Finally on a Monday before the hurricane they said they will send it. Called again the next day because they never sent it. Got ahold of someone else. She said the doctor will sign it and send it over. Nothing. Finally my daughter ran out of her meds. Called a few times nothing. On a Friday almost two weeks later, I called five more times and got Millie. She promised the lady was going to send it out and SHE WOULD call me back. Guess what, nothing. Called the overnight number to talk to an on call doctor but nothing. No call back no meds. So if you have a child that needs medication, your better off not going here. I'm looking for a new place to care for my child. I understand that they can care less about who their patients are but this is my child.

So respectful of my 18 yo daughter. Took extensive time with her and provided education on the spot. Very knowledgeable in area of autonomic and connective tissue disorders. Very passionate about getting proper diagnosis for optimal treatment results. Highly recommend.

Dr.Ballal and his staff are amazing! I even witnessed a mother very upset because she was in a rush to go to another appointment the same day she had this appointment, like why would you even make two appointments that close to eachother? Anyways I say that because they still remained very professional to that very rude mother! They were the sweetest and most helpful people I have encountered in a doctors office. I noticed there’s not too many staff which is probably why some calls go unanswered but they do always return calls. I’m not sure but I love them and I would 100% recommend them to others. Although my son was discharged, we would return if we needed him again.

I'm sad to write this review because Dr. Ballal is fine. He was very friendly and seems knowledgeable. His office staff is HORRIBLE. You can call for 2 weeks straight and not get a soul on the phone. I have resorted to driving down to the office myself. Everyone looks and acts like they hate their life. It's such a stark contrast to Dr. Ballal himself, who is jovial. I will be looking for a new cardiologist for my child because they made the experiences so bad.

Dr. Ballal is amazing! We had been to several cardiologists who either had no clue or said my kiddo's symptoms were all in their head. He was able to test them and diagnose them quickly. He's also very knowledgeable on Ehlers Danlos which, if you're a part of that community, you know is very hard to find. We've been seeing him now for many years and my kids are thriving thanks to him.
