After years of following the brand, I Visited the store today, ended up buying on pair only because I was already decided and I trust the quality, but the staff is kind of cold, they just tell you that all pairs run the same like saying “by trying one set should be enough”; however, If a take time to go to a store nowadays (inside of buying online) is because besides the build and feel I want to try the look of the different colors… if the sales representative is not comfortable showing all colors you want, then what is the reason of having a physical store?

Purchased a pair of sneakers online that did not fit me. I went up in size because I am usually a half size. I could have sent them back but called the NY SoHo store and talked to Ryann to see if the shoe and size was in stock there. It was so I decided to take a trip from Boston to exchange a find the correct size. I couldn’t have made a better choice. Amber was working and she was so accommodating, knowledgeable, and engaging assisting me with my shoes. Her professionalism was so personal that I decided to purchase a second pair in a different color. Unfortunately there was only one set of shoe trees in my size but she told me see could have the second pair shipped directly to my home. Now that’s service!!! With my shoe size dialed in I can order the correct size in the future. With the service I received here I will probably just come back to this location for their outstanding customer service.

Visited Koio for the first time, staff was very friendly and quick to help. Not a chaotic atmosphere it’s very calm and peaceful which I prefer. The quality of their shoes is amazing and I ended up getting a nice pair of loafers for my sister. The girl working there last friday that helped me was super welcoming and nice!

I was in NYC for 5 days, visited 12 stores, had mostly great shopping experiences, and had exactly 1 bad experience: Koio Soho.

It was my first time at Koio. The person who helped me was R.

I tried on 3 pairs, Capri size 8, Capri size 7, Capri Regenerative size 7.

R was helpful at first, but became visibly and audibly annoyed when I said I wanted to try on the third pair, because according to him, the construction is “exactly the same” as the second pair.

I was the only customer there, and I spent like 15 minutes of his time, so not sure what the big deal was.

Anyway, he brought it out, and I was trying it on when he muttered something under his breath at the counter to another staff member. She laughed, I looked up, she looked away.

To be honest, I felt unwelcome and I really did not want to make a purchase that day. But I did. Because I had limited time and I wanted to take the Koios back home.

I had to do a quick exchange so I made a second visit. This time, I ran into Koio cofounder Johannes and got to geek out a bit with him about his shoes, which was nice. But overall, the whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth.

I don’t think my man realizes not all Koio customers live in countries where Koio sells. It’s not easy to do a return or exchange, so sometimes we just want an extra minute to try before buying.

I have followed the brand for approximately one year. However, I was hesitant to purchase online without first trying on the shoe to ensure it was a comfortable fit. I decided to wait until I had an opportunity to visit their Soho NYC store. On arrival at the store the sales person was helpful and assisted me narrow my options. Additionally, she was very knowledgeable pertaining to her employer's product. The Italian craftsmanship is of high standards. Their shoes are comfortable and I could not leave the store without purchasing a pair of 'Capri X'. I highly recommend the brand!

I purchased these shoes for my husband’s birthday a few weeks ago. The store representative told him to go one size down and that it would take a few days for the shoe to break in. It’s been 3 weeks and the shoe still feels extremely uncomfortable. He messaged customer service and only got a $20 refund when he told them that he thinks he needs a bigger size but the representative was so adamant that he goes with a smaller size and it would be completely fine. I really don’t know how much longer the break in period is supposed to last when he’s been wearing the shoe every day in hopes that it’ll just work for him but it clearly isn’t.
The representative working that day (I don’t remember the name) was also very standoffish so it made it difficult to ask any additional questions, but they just kept telling us to go with this size. I am kind of disappointed because I really do like the look of the shoe and my husband really needed a new white pair of sneakers but I’m disappointed in the customer service overall and the fact that his feet are still in pain after a few weeks

Amazing shoes. And the staff Ryan was super helpful, I bought a nice pair of Chelsea boots and can’t wait to come back to grab their signature sneakers
