Not impressed. Ordering was a drag too. Didn't feel welcomed there. Overpriced. Food too salty. Pastries too much sugar. Drinks are just sugar. Not for me , but hey, give them a try. Maybe my taste buds were messing with me the day I went.

I visited SA Seafood the other day because of all of the pictures and videos I was seeing on social media. I wanted to see for myself. Unfortunately, I was not impressed at all. The first thing I noticed was that the place is like a regular fast food joint, and it had a weird smell. The second thing I noticed was the 89-B food establishment grading system on the wall. I guess it is OK. The third thing I noticed was mannerism and customer service. The person who took our order was all on the phone texting while customers were standing on line looking at the menu. He finally looked up and noticed we were ready to order. The person took my order, but when it was my wife turned to order, she took a little longer to order, and the person just stood there with their arms crossed, like she was taking too long. Very unprofessional. I ordered the lobster fried rice, and my wife had the cat fish dinner. The portion size was good. However, my lobster came in a bathtub of oil. The fried rice, although it was plentifu it had a muddy taste, I'm guessing, because of the crawfish that was in it. The lobster lacked that buttery taste we all love, and it was a bit gummy. Overall, it was OK, but for me, it did not live to the hype social media created on all those pictures and videos I've seen.

This is where I shopped while I was staying in San Antonio. It was close to my hotel, and I knew how to get there without my GPS. Nice clean area.
