This was a fantastic stay! We needed a place last minute near Winter Park for a reunion event. This was the closest Hilton brand hotel in the area. We received a call the day of our stay to see if we were okay with an upgrade. We went from a double queen to a single king suite. To our surprise the room was very spacious, with a view of downtown Orlando! This is a new hotel, so the place was immaculate.

Breakfast was pretty standard. Because of my status we received $10/person that we used to cover most of our meal expenses. The waitress was very attentive and the food was exactly what we ordered. We didn’t do the buffet because of the options/cost. We were worried it was closed because we got up late. But they stay open until 11 AM for breakfast on Saturday and Sunday.

There was ample free parking in a lot by the hotel.

This hotel was a huge disappointment. The location is great but the customer service at this hotel is terrible! They started by giving us the wrong room, we paid for a king and got 2 queens but that’s fine. Then not once, did we get cleaning service. And finally, my husband left his wedding ring and they said they “would have no problem sending it” to us only to have the local UPS store call me a week later for my credit card information because an employee just dropped the ring off and made it UPS’s problem. If they had just said they couldn’t send it I would’ve had a local friend pick it up. It’s also crazy to me after spending over 500$ on a mediocre room, they don’t have the decency to mail a small, very meaningful item to their customers. It just shows that they don’t actually care to build customer relationships. Won’t be staying here again. Not worth the money.

This hotel was nice enough and in a good location, however, the staff was incredibly rude every time we had a question. In addition, they charge $17 for breakfast regardless of age- ridiculous! Would not stay again.

The front desk manager explained to me that the Hilton garden inn is basically nothing more than a motel dressed up in a hotel’s body, as they don’t offer the same amenities of a typical Hilton hotel (which would be fine if the price and description reflected that). I called the property directly to see if they could accommodate my disability. They promised me that they could and when I arrived, they didn’t. They confirmed seeing the accommodation request in their notes, and then chose to argue the point that they do not make such promises, like I must’ve dreamt up the two phone calls in my head. I have heard of Hilton’s customer service policy before, but never witnessed it first hand: “The customer is always wrong.”

The location and the courteous staff are the two main reasons why I will stay with this hotel again when I go to winter park. BTW, the room is a good size too, it doesn't feel like your boxed in as some hotels do.

I stayed here for a business trip and chose the Garden Inn for its location. I am so glad I did, as it was one of the best hotel stays. Every front desk associate, every bartender, every server was fantastic. But omg, the breakfast! I had the omelet daily and had to compliment the chef. I heard other guests do the same. So good! Clean and spacious rooms. Plenty of restaurants and shopping all around. Only one improvement - more snack choices for those late evening cravings. Great job!

We did not spend the night, so I don't know about the rooms. However, the Winter Park High School 60-year reunion participants and guests were treated to plenty of food and scrumptious dessert by pleasant, professional personnel.

Our staff (43 members) recently stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Winter Park for an event we held in the area. From working with Anastasia in the sales department as we prepared for the weekend, the ease of parking when we arrived and throughout our stay, the friendly assistance at the front desk with Kiara, to the comfortable and clean guest rooms, every staff member enjoyed our stay. The restaurant was convenient, and food was tasty. The communication with the staff throughout our stay was friendly and helpful. And the location was very convenient to many restaurants, stores and the lovely downtown of Winter Park. We hope to return next year.
