Tried for the first time. Now the customer service was amazing but once I got my food it goes down from there. It was hot. My fish was undercooked and very fishy. The fries were the best part. The wings weren't all the way there either.

My husband viewed your website on YouTube. We like going to different eatery on the weekends. Your site listed the operation hours and it stated that you are open from 3-8 on Sundays! I drove from White Settlement to your location and was highly disappointed to find it closed! The voicemail stated that you were taking orders and to hold. Several other customers arrived as well. Suggestion: Update your website and your voicemail if Sundays are days that you are closed! Business 101: operation hours need to be post at the location and if hours change, update social media! I feel like I wasted my time driving across town to a location that was not even open! We love supporting black owned businesses, but this was a miss on your part.

I Would like a Refund

I called in my order and ordered a wing combo.. and a side of catfish.. Was told the total was 38.17.. Which I think was crazy price for a 10 piece and fries... When I got the order it was nice and hot and the fries looked good and so did the fish.. Now mind you the wings were a whole wing when I went to pull it apart it was bleeding from the joints.. I figured it was just a bad one.. So I pulled another apart and the same thing... It was bleeding and I finally decided to just leave them but as I'm driving I can smell the old grease from the wings so I decided to try the fish.. Oh my I can taste the oldness from the grease the fish were cooked in.. I should have turned around and returned them but I was trying to beat traffic going home towards Denton...

I got the land and sea combo. 2 pc of fish and wings. Fish was fried hard how I like but, the fish smells weird. Like it’s old. After a while it taste bad. The chicken smells like it was fried in old grease. Decent taste but nothing special. Hot sauce couldn’t save this. Probably won’t be back. Better fish in oak Cliff. Not worth the $20.

Edit: after the petty and unprofessional response from the owner, I’m editing this a 1 star. Learn to accept constructive criticism and offer to make things better. No business is perfect. I support black business with intent. Sorry my honesty hurt your feelings. I hope y’all understand I’m only trying to help.

Where do I even begin starting with

Me contacting the health department because it’s too expensive and too hot to playing with peoples food I ordered a 10 piece wing basket and got served crisp no meat just bone fires smugy tasted like straight oil and my 6 piece wings ? Straight up baby wings man I’m a grown man and I wasn’t trying to get played with my meal today it’s too hot. So what do we do from here they closed already wasted my money on this overpriced expensive food don’t believe the hype if you eat here your taste buds are messed up. My dog didn’t even want that stuff I just want my refund and my taste buds backz.

Woke up this morning craving some catfish. Did some searching and this place popped up, read the reviews and Mannnn say !

I ordered the Catfish basket (2 big catfishes , fries & roll) And the 8wing basket with their signature sauce & it was the best catfish I ever had in Texas. Tastes so fresh !! Crispy and had bones in it so it’s that juicy catfish !! The wings was amazing !! Crispy and so perfectly fried and sauced up !!! 10/10 i recommend for SURE !!!

I took a long time to try this place.....I waited too long. Look, my food was delivered and it was still hot, like blow it first. ? The fish and chicken were delicious. The fries crispy not greasy and the greens were good too. Even the presentation was on point.Definitely recommend to anyone.

Had the ooowwweee wings w/ heat and they were . Great spicy flavor with a hint of sweetness and the wings still had a good crispness to them. And fyi they serve the entire wing (not separated by drum/flat). Also had the fried catfish and it was good as well. They even seasoned the store bought fries well. Going to try the chicken and waffles next time.
