Primrose school of NE Greenoaks.
After taking a step back and reflecting on some practices of this location I have found some things in my opinion I think they should target to improve. One would be the “please call primrose” notification you would get in the parent app. Most often I would get those if my child was injured. I have portal messages which I will attach the pictures of of the staff mainly Katherine and Linda asking me to call to inform me of an injury while I am at work but would not follow up with a picture of the injury which I requested or an incident report detailing that injury. I wanted to access the severity of the injury so I could see if I needed to leave work or make a doctors appointment. I also had to ask several times to please put my child’s coat on when the weather was cold. In addition some notifications about exposure to certain illnesses weren’t detailed so I didn’t know if my child’s class was exposed. I have also provided pictures of the above references. I know kids will be kids so they may get a small bruise but when my child came home with a large bruise there was no incident report and I had to follow up the next day, this wasn’t the type of bruise you wouldn’t see his entire forearm was bruised. The school is also under some updates to remove popcorn ceiling and new paint. On Monday 7/22/24 the kids were in their classroom all day with the vents closed and the strong smell of paint it wasn’t until after 4pm that they were trying to fix the problem, Linda was in a disarray because the temperature in class was over 80 degrees. Had I known at drop off I would have never allowed my child at the school but since they aren’t in their classroom at my drop off time I was unaware, they also never sent any notification of the incident out. I did mention this in person to Lynne the owner and it was acknowledged with her saying yes we had to go and open the air vents back up. The previous classroom had a huge turnover rate Ariel,Rickey,Mia,Tiffany, Princess,Ola and a couple others left which equals to around 8 teachers within a year. I can also agree with a few of the previous reviews that the staff, well they do be lying. There was an incident that when I followed up for further details it in fact did not happen like I was told. That teacher did come back to my child and I to apologize and said they owned it however when speaking with Katherine I said the teacher lied and she stated the teacher misspoke. If some one says ABC happened when in fact it did not would one say oh they misspoke or they lied?!? The moment I gave notification of withdrawal it seems things went even more downhill. First I wasn’t paid up on tuition and when I proved otherwise it was oh well that is for registration and of course I did not complete registration because we were withdrawing and then it was well my child’s last day must be today when the notification of last day email was received and replied to with the last day noted. After that it was okay well we were under the impression you were going to register, how could that be if weeks before you received the notification of withdrawal? Followed up by well we can’t do that but we will charge you three days for them to attend one day. I have provided all the screenshots for reference. I hope that Primrose is taking the feedback that people are leaving here at the corporate settings since feedback is not received well at the localized level. I would not recommend Primrose School of NE Greenoaks in Arlington, TX.
